We’re excited to announce the launch of Salal Academy, our new four-week immersive job-prep training program designed for people in our community who are interested in exploring a career in banking. Best of all, you’ll get paid to learn. Participants get a $1,000 stipend after they complete the program’s requirements.
The Academy’s mission is to equip participants with practical, transferable skills in banking software, industry knowledge, and customer service, paving the way for entry-level opportunities in the financial services sector. Through the program, we also aim to reach people in communities who have traditionally been under-represented in the banking world, letting them know about the many opportunities available in the world of financial services.
Salal Academy offers more than just job shadowing; it provides a gateway to new learning opportunities. Through a combination of classroom learning, independent activities, in-branch training, and professional development—including practice job interviews—participants in the program gain both technical and soft skills training, enhancing their readiness for a career in banking.
