Salal Business Services recently implemented a new Compliance Member Center for reporting cannabis sales activity. This new portal is separate from our Business Online Banking platform and requires a separate username and password. The Compliance Member Center allows cannabis businesses to self-report sales activity quarterly, or even monthly if you prefer, and on your own schedule. You may also connect your Metrc data using an API Key and add additional users if these compliance tasks should be handled by multiple people within your business.
As a reminder, this change went into effect in November 2023 and is required for reporting quarterly sales for July 2023 onward. Alerts will be generated automatically within Compliance Member Center when your sales activity is due. Alerts may generate monthly but are due after the end of each quarter.

Q: How do I obtain my username and password for the Compliance Member Center?
A: A welcome email will be sent by our team, which contains a link to finish creating your user account profile. Your email address is your username, and you will be asked to create a password.
The designated Compliance Contact for each business account was set up as the administrator for the Compliance Member Center. The administrator can add additional users for the business to help with reporting requirements.
Q: Is there a fee associated with using the compliance software?
A: No, there is no fee for members to utilize the software.
Q: Is this required to remain in compliance with Salal’s Cannabis Business Program?
A: Yes.
Q: Can multiple people from my company have access to the Compliance Member Center?
A: Yes, each user must have their own username and password. Your company admin may create additional users.
Q: Am I allowed to share my Metrc API key with you?
A: Yes. Our software provider, Shield Compliance, is a Metrc Validated Intregrator. For more information, please visit the Metrc website.
